AI Company Privacy Policy

Effective date: 29 August 2026

This policy describes how the privately operated AI Company system uses Google account data after the owner authorizes access through Google OAuth.

Google data accessed

Depending on permissions explicitly granted by the Google account owner, AI Company may access Google Drive file and folder information and may create, read, update, organize or retrieve files required for backup, recovery and owner-initiated automation.

How Google data is used

• Create and maintain AI Company backup and recovery data.
• Verify that backup files can be accessed and recovered.
• Restore encrypted AI Company data to a trusted owner-controlled computer.
• Perform other owner-initiated Google Drive workflows only when explicitly configured.

Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or used to build advertising profiles.

Storage and encryption

For the encrypted backup workflow, selected backup files are encrypted locally before upload. The encryption recovery key is stored separately and is not intentionally uploaded into the same protected Google Drive backup.

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens used by the local backup tool are stored on the authorized local computer and are not published on this website.

Retention and revocation

Backup data may remain in the owner's Google Drive until the owner removes it or changes the documented retention policy. The owner may revoke Google access at any time from their Google Account permissions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

AI Company's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
